Admission & Required Documents
Peruvian Law requires all guests to present an original Passport or National ID upon arrival. For foreign travelers to qualify for the 18% IGV (VAT) tax exemption, a physical passport and digital TAM (Migration card) are mandatory. Failure to provide these results in the automatic addition of 18% tax to the final bill.
Check-out & Logistics
To accommodate train schedules and high turnover in Aguas Calientes, check-out is at 09:00 AM. We provide complimentary secure luggage storage until your train departure. Late check-outs are subject to availability and incur a 50% nightly rate fee.
Guest Responsibilities & Damages
Guests assume responsibility for the furniture and textiles in their sanctuary. Any significant damage or missing items will be documented and charged to the guest's card or must be settled in cash before departure.
Safety & Tranquility
Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM to respect guests waking early for the Citadel. Tikary House reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest whose conduct is deemed disruptive or illegal without a refund.
Liability Limitation
Tikary House is not liable for loss of personal valuables not stored in the provided safes. Furthermore, we are not responsible for delays or costs arising from external transport providers (trains/buses) or environmental changes in the Machu Picchu area.
